Academic Surgeon

Location: Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston MA

GENERAL SURGERY – The Department of Surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital is seeking a board certified/eligible academic surgeon with fellowship training or equivalent in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery to join our established group.

Appointment as Assistant Professor level at the Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training and achievements in addition to teaching activities. Suitable candidates will have an MD or an MD/PhD and must demonstrate professional, academic and teaching skills in minimally invasive surgery.

In addition, the successful candidate will have expertise and track record of funded research or reasonable certainty of external funding within 1-2 years. The research ideally will contribute to ongoing department initiatives.
