Cardiothoracic Surgeon

Location: University of Cincinnati

The Department of Surgery at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine is seeking a full-time academic cardiac surgeon to join a growing practice. Candidates should be proficient in all aspects of adult cardiac surgery, including mechanical circulatory support and heart transplantation. Successful candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery and possess of a valid Ohio medical license at time of employment.

Candidates must also be committed to an academic career that combines outstanding patient care with teaching and research activities. A key component of this position involves teaching medical students as well as residents in both general surgery and thoracic surgery programs. Academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Successful applicants will be provided with competitive salary and benefits.
