Location: Massachusetts General Hospital
The Massachusetts General Hospital’s Division of Thoracic Surgery is seeking a Thoracic Surgeon at the Massachusetts General Hospital that will also include partial clinical responsibilities at our affiliated sites. Reporting to the Chief of Mass General’s Division of Thoracic Surgery, the successful candidate will be responsible for clinical care, research and teaching at Mass General Hospital and at our affiliated sites.
Board certification in Thoracic Surgery is required. Applicants must possess a strong background in basic and/or clinical investigation and demonstration of scholarly attributes in teaching are highly desirable. The ideal candidate should rank at the top of a peer group in academic thoracic surgery, possess expertise in minimally invasive or robotic thoracic surgery and program development, experience in patient-related outcomes reporting and analysis, and have academic credentials to support an appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level at Harvard Medical School.
