Surgery Residency Program Director
Location: Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School – Boston, MA
The Department of Surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital is seeking to recruit a full-time academic surgeon to serve as the Program Director of the Surgery Residency in the Brigham and Women's Department of Surgery. The ideal applicant will be board eligible/board certified in General Surgery and/or one of its subspecialties, as well as have a strong interest in surgical education and administration.
The candidate should also be qualified to be appointed at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the academic department of Surgery at Harvard Medical School. Salary and academic appointment will be commensurate with training and level of experience.
The Surgery Residency Program is a core educational and clinical program within the Department of Surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Graduating 9 chief residents per year, it is a large and complex ACGME-accredited training program that is nationally and internationally recognized as a leader in the education of surgical residents.
