Pediatric Surgeon

Location: MassGeneral Hospital for Children

MassGeneral Hospital for Children, a full-service provider of pediatric medical and surgical services embedded within the broader Massachusetts General Hospital, seeks a pediatric surgeon to join the Pediatric Surgery Division of the Department of Surgery. Massachusetts General Hospital is a major Boston teaching hospital and affiliate of Harvard Medical School.

As a full-time Harvard Medical School faculty member, the physician should have special interested in furthering the clinical, research, and teaching goals of the institution with a focus on pediatric surgery and must qualify for a Harvard Medical School appointment at the Instructor or Assistant Professor level.

The pediatric surgeon must have a willingness to see patients in a community setting as well as in an academic medical center environment. The candidate must be board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Surgery. Specific interest in pediatric surgical outcomes research is highly desirable, as is clinical expertise in thoracic surgery and ECMO.
