Acute Care Surgeon – Assistant Professor, Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven and Greenwich Hospital

Location: Yale University, School of Medicine, New Haven CT

The Division of General Surgery, Trauma and Surgical Critical Care, at the Yale School of Medicine in conjunction with the Yale-New Haven Health System is seeking an acute care surgeon to join our faculty and provide services at both Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT and Greenwich Hospital in Greenwich, CT. The position is at the Assistant Professor level, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Qualified candidates will have completed fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care and be Board Eligible or Board Certified in both General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care.

We are seeking candidates with excellent clinical and interpersonal skills and the commitment to make important contributions to the field of General Surgery, Trauma and Surgical Critical Care.

Greenwich Hospital is a private not-for-profit, general, acute care hospital that has been serving patients since 1903.  It is licensed for 206 beds and employs more than 1800 people.  Greenwich Hospital is a community hospital serving people in lower Fairfield County and lower Westchester County New York.  Greenwich is a beautiful hamlet conveniently located just north of the New York state line on Long Island Sound.
