Vascular and Endovascular Surgery · Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor

The University of California, San Diego, Department of Surgery, Division of Vascular Surgery (https://medschool.ucsd.edu/som/surgery/divisions/vascular/Pages/default.aspx) is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff and student body and seek to recruit a fellowship trained vascular and endovascular surgeon with a commitment to research and education and focus on research and clinical care in the area of advanced endovascular and open vascular surgery.
Qualified candidates must meet the following criteria:
- MD and board certification or eligibility in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery.
- Candidate must also be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the Medical Board of California.
- Successful completion or anticipated completion of 0+5 or 5+2 fellowship program in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery.
- The ideal candidate must have demonstrated excellence in research, clinical care of patients, as well as an excellent record of accomplishment of publication.
Appointment will be at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. Series will be determined by the successful candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and based on University of California pay scales. Appointments may require candidates to be self-funded.
