Peripheral Nerve Surgeon | Associate Professor of Surgery
Location: Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School
Massachusetts General Hospital, a major Boston teaching hospital and affiliate of Harvard Medical School, seeks a Peripheral Nerve Surgeon to collaborate with division faculty to build and expand the Peripheral Nerve Program in the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Division of the Department of Surgery.
The Peripheral Nerve Surgeon will participate in all aspects of the clinical practice, educational programs, and research related to the Peripheral Nerve program at Massachusetts General Hospital. S/he will seek to further the teaching and research missions of the institution, and as such, must qualify for a Harvard Medical School appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor level.
The surgeon must be a role model for clinical scientists and surgeons in training. The position, therefore, requires an outstanding surgeon who is a distinguished national leader in peripheral nerve as well as an exemplary teacher, with a background and accomplishments in research. The individual should also have experience and interest building a high-volume peripheral nerve and reconstructive clinical practice with demonstrated excellent outcomes.
