Faculty Position in Otolaryngology – Laryngologist
Location: Yale University, School of Medicine, New Haven CT
The Division of Otolaryngology at the Yale School of Medicine is currently seeking a board eligible/board certified or equivalent Laryngologist to join our comprehensive and growing team. Applications are invited for the position of Assistant or Associate Professor of Surgery at the Yale School of Medicine.
Primary responsibilities will include providing patient care at a clinic space in Greenwich, CT with surgical procedures performed at Greenwich Hospital, a unit of Yale-New Haven Health System. A physician skilled in Laryngology and comprehensive Otolaryngology is needed in the Greenwich community. Time will also be spent at our New Haven campus, including educational activities with medical students and residents.
This position is an opportunity to join a growing faculty and develop a robust clinical practice along with a state-of-the-art Laryngology Center in a thriving community in southwestern Connecticut. Greenwich is a beautiful community on Long Island Sound, just a short distance from Manhattan.
All aspects of Laryngology and General Otolaryngology will be practiced, in a fully outfitted office. We are seeking candidates with an academic orientation in clinical care and/or education. Candidates will have exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to make contributions to the field of Otolaryngology. In addition to program planning and development, candidates should also have a background in quality assurance, educational and operational issues.
New Haven and Greenwich are located between Boston and New York. There are ample opportunities to live on the coast or in surrounding areas with small town charm. The greater area offers some of the top public and private schools in the country.
