Multi-Organ Abdominal Transplant Surgeon

Location: Northwestern University

The Comprehensive Transplant Center and Division of Organ Transplantation at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Responsibilities include deceased and living donor kidney and liver transplantation, pancreas transplantation, small volumes of general abdominal procedures, hepatobiliary cases and dialysis access procedures.

Qualified candidates will be multi-organ transplant surgeons who have their MD, are board certified in General Surgery, have completed a 2-year ASTS accredited Abdominal Organ Transplan Fellowship, are eligible for licensure in the State of Illinois, and are eligible to work in the United States. Candidates will ideally have interest in clinical, translational, basic science or outcomes research. Candidates with pediatric organ transplant experience preferred.
